1 WEEK UNTIL WE ARE HOME! WOOOO HOOOOO! We are getting so excited and I'm going to start packing on Saturday or Sunday - I can't wait!!!!! Kirsten got to play with my friend Ruthanne's little cutie Andrew this morning and to my surprise Kirsten was nice and kinda shared her toys. Congrats to Ruthanne as she is taking Andrew home forever tomorrow!!! Here are some pictures from the last week or so.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY BLOG IS IN ENGLISH AGAIN....HALLELUJAH!

The blog editing part has been in spanish and I couldn't figure out how to change it to english...now I can do all the updating I have been wanting to do :-)

The embassy moved our appointment up! WOOOOO HOOOOO Our new appointment is October 2nd and we will be home October 4th :-) With our old appointment we would have got caught in the Columbus Day holiday and wouldn't have been able to leave until Wednesday the 10th so this saves us a whole week!!!!!! We are so on cloud 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE ARE PINK &

COMING HOME!!!!!!!!

We got our visa appointment! It's scheduled for October 5th at 7:15am and we can fly home October 9th. The lady Tom talked to at the embassy said that since we have been here so long to email and ask to see if they could move it up to an earlier available date! Please pray that they move it up so we can go home sooner :-)

It will feel great to be on US soil again, to see our family and friends....Oh and to get some Starbucks (I have been dying for latte!) LOL

What a day we have had....Kirsten went to the doctor this morning and boy does she hate him now! She got her 1 year shots, is 20.8 pounds and 28.5 inches. He said she is actually taller then she should be since she was so small at birth so she is doing very very good :-)

Kirsten's 2nd DNA samples are currently being tested at labcorp and should be done hopefully today or Monday. We are hoping to have pink on Tues/Wed and please pray our appointment is the week of the 24th.

Hopefully everything will fall into place soon.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO OUR LITTLE PRINCESS KIRSTEN!

Our baby is 1 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even believe it she is officially a toddler...yikes! LOL We got hercake and she wasn't real impressed. She wanted nothing to do with getting all messy with cake all over her hnd and face....I even tried by putting her hand in the cake....still nohing but screams because she was sticky and dirty LOL. US EMBASSY YOU BETTER GET A MOVE ON BECAUSE HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Much to my surprise our attorney actually came through with Kirsten's corrected bc and new passport today. They are submitting us to the US Embassy tomorrow!!! I am hoping my agency can schedule us to do her 2nd DNA test tomorrow also...which if all works out to the timeframe I was given we should be home the 25th or 26th of September! Cloud 9 wont even begin to describe it as I am really wanting to get home. Tom arrives this Friday so he will be here with us on Monday as we celebrate Kirsten's 1st Birthday and also to wait out the rest of the time with us until we go home :-)

The thought that our baby is going to be 1 already and we are not in the US yet breaks my heart and enrages me all at the same time, but I am glad we will be here to celebrate with her and hopefully will be going home a few short weeks after. I watch the airplanes take off and land from our room at the Marriott and it just feels like us going home is still so far away and I guess all I can do is hope and pray the next few weeks go by quickly.

We cannot win for losing at this point.....

They issued Kirsten's bc and passport with my middle name as my maiden name so guess what...everything has to be redone :-( They said they should be able to get a corrected bc today and redo her passport tomorrow and finally in to the embassy on Wednesday but I will believe it when I see it. It took them 4 days to get her bc last time so I can't see how they can get a corrected one in 1 day but at this point let's pray they can. As long as we get in on Wednesday we should still be home sometime the week of September 24th.
