US EMBASSY YOU BETTER GET A MOVE ON BECAUSE HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Much to my surprise our attorney actually came through with Kirsten's corrected bc and new passport today. They are submitting us to the US Embassy tomorrow!!! I am hoping my agency can schedule us to do her 2nd DNA test tomorrow also...which if all works out to the timeframe I was given we should be home the 25th or 26th of September! Cloud 9 wont even begin to describe it as I am really wanting to get home. Tom arrives this Friday so he will be here with us on Monday as we celebrate Kirsten's 1st Birthday and also to wait out the rest of the time with us until we go home :-)
The thought that our baby is going to be 1 already and we are not in the US yet breaks my heart and enrages me all at the same time, but I am glad we will be here to celebrate with her and hopefully will be going home a few short weeks after. I watch the airplanes take off and land from our room at the Marriott and it just feels like us going home is still so far away and I guess all I can do is hope and pray the next few weeks go by quickly.

Diana---I'm right there with you, girl. This last part of the wait is excruciating. I've never felt this much anxiety in my whole life.
Hang in there. It's going to happen. In the meantime, keep hugging that little one and blow some kisses Andrew's way.
I was REALLY hoping to get down there in time for Kirsten's birthday, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I'm so glad you guys will be together as a family for her birthday, though.
SO happy to hear you will be home soon!! Sometimes I miss the Marriott:) But let me tell I was happy to be home after 4 weeks so I can only imagine how you will feel to get home!! CONGRATS and I am So happy I found your blog, I was wondering how you were doing:)
Hi Diana! Have been thinking about you. Wish Kirsten a "Happy Birthday" from Katherine and me! It seems like it has been forever since I was in Guatemala. I will be going back on October 19th, but you will be home by then, thank God. Can't wait for Katherine to wear her Crocs. Found out we are done with Family Court, so just waiting for PA. Hope you and Kirsten are doing well. She is such a Cutie!!! Take care!
